Home & Living Assessment is a comprehensive functional capacity assessments designed to inform housing options for individuals with disabilities. These assessments involve both informal and standardised evaluations to understand the specific needs of each person. These assessments help to identify the most suitable living arrangements and supports to ensure that individuals can live as independently as possible.
The NDIS provides three main types of Home & Living options:
– Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
– Supported Independent Living (SIL)
– Individualised Living Options (ILO)
